- The CPEC has brought a total of $25.4 billion in direct investment, 236,000 jobs, 510 kilometers of highways, more than 8,000 megawatts of electricity and 886 kilometers of core transmission to Pakistan. - Malik Khuda Bakhsh, Convenor of the Energy Standing Committee of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), has announced that they are planning to set up 3,000 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations in the country with the cooperation of a Chinese company.
- The government of Pakistan has signed a loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Integrated Social Protection Development Programme (ISPDP) additional financing, amounting to US$330 million. This programme builds on the ongoing ADB-funded programme for strengthening and expanding social protection systems in Pakistan through the Benazir Income Support Programme.
