PREMA's bottom line turns creamy

October 30, 2025 (MLN): At-Tahur Limited (PSX: PREMA) recorded a profit after taxation (PAT) of Rs42.9 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, marking a 74% increase compared to Rs24.6m earned in the same period last year.
The company’s revenue from contracts with customers rose 22% YoY to Rs1.55 billion, supported by steady demand for its dairy products and pricing adjustments.
Total income, including gains from milk valuation and dairy livestock, climbed to Rs2.74bn from Rs2.31bn a year earlier.
Operating costs increased by 18% to Rs2.12bn, in line with inflationary pressures and expansion-related expenses.
Despite higher selling and administrative costs, gross profit improved 20% to Rs618m, reflecting better cost management and operational efficiency.
After accounting for finance costs of Rs50.7m and levies of Rs19.4m, At-Tahur posted a profit before tax of Rs42.9m, up sharply from Rs24.6m in the same quarter of 2024.
Earnings per share also rose to Rs 0.20, compared with Rs 0.11 last year.
