KSE-100 touches 171K on bullish momentum

December 15, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index is trading at 170,960.91, showing an increase of 1,096.39 points, or 0.65%.
The index has hit an intraday high of 171,000.37 (+1,135.85).
Market is showing strong momentum, supported by multiple positive factors.
approval of a major loan package has boosted investor confidence, while ongoing support from traditional partners and stable foreign reserves provide additional financial stability.
Strengthening remittances and robust domestic demand, reflected in growing consumer activity, further reinforce optimism for continued gains at the bourse.
So far, a total of 224.34 million shares have changed hands on the KSE-100 Index.
Of the 100 index companies 67 are up, 29 are down, while 4 are unchanged.
Top gainers were MLCF (+4.99%), ISL (+4.79%), SRVI (+4.46%), TGL (+4.25%), and SNGP (+3.26%).
On the other hand, top losers were KAPCO (-3.19%), LOTCHEM (-2.45%), NML (-1.21%), KTML (-1.12%), and DHPL (-0.75%).
