December 23, 2025 (MLN): Kohinoor Mills Limited (PSX: KML) has commenced commercial production at its newly established Apparel Division, reinforcing its strategic expansion in the apparel industry.

The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility spans approximately 16,000 square meters and is designed to meet the high standards of modern fashion retail. 

With annual production capacity exceeding 5 million garments, the division aims to produce 5,000 garments per day per shift by June 30, 2026. 

The workforce currently stands at over 480 employees, according to the company's statement issued today. 

The facility features advanced stitching, washing, and finishing lines, enabling the production of high-quality casual wear and performance garments. 

Integration with the Company’s in-house weaving and dyeing divisions ensures consistent quality, product standardization, and sustainability.

Management expects this forward integration to strengthen the value added product mix, enhance customer engagement, and contribute significantly to revenue growth and overall profitability.

At the time of writing, KML shares were trading at Rs.15.60, up Rs.0.59 or 3.93%.
