PSX Mid-Day: Reaching New Heights

December 29, 2025 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed robust bullish momentum on Monday by Mid-day, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index crossing the 174,000 level to reach an intraday high of 174,411.72 gaining as much as 2,010.99 points.

The benchmark KSE-100 Index is currently trading at 173,772.98, showing an increase of 1,372.25 points or 0.80%.

Since January 2025, the PSX has generated returns exceeding 50% in US dollar terms, positioning it among the top-performing markets in Asia, with 2025 marking yet another year of strong gains for investors, according to Khurram Schehzad on his X handle.

Investor participation is accelerating rapidly  the equity investor base has surpassed 450,000, an increase of over 120,000 investors (+37%) in just 18 months.

These record levels underscore growing investor confidence, underpinned by sustained macroeconomic stability, key reforms, and improving prospects for more sustainable, higher growth in the future.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 184.73 million shares.

 Top gainers during mid-day were FFL (+10.02%), PTC (+7.10%), FCCL (+5.23%), AIRLINK (+3.33%), and AKBL (+3.25%).
