January 30, 2026 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Friday's trading session at 184,174.48, showing an increase of 1,836.36 points or 1.01%.
The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 186,619.51 (+4,281.39) and a low of 182,347.47 (+9.35) points.
The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 344.20 million shares.
Of the 100 index companies 71 closed up, 28 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.
Top gainers during the day were JVDC (+8.43%), KTML (+7.09%), ILP (+6.58%), NML (+6.26%), and INDU (+4.04%).
On the other hand, top losers were PGLC (-3.61%), AICL (-2.50%), HCAR (-2.25%), BOP (-1.64%), and POL (-1.47%).
In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were ENGROH (+253.19pts), LUCK (+248.58pts), UBL (+235.10pts), MEBL (+175.47pts), and MARI (+145.73pts).
Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were FFC (-246.67pts), MCB (-74.87pts), POL (-42.34pts), BOP (-30.42pts), and AICL (-26.36pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Commercial Banks (+472.33pts), Cement (+354.09pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+267.37pts), Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (+242.44pts), and Textile Composite (+152.51pts).
While the index was let down by Fertilizer (-120.47pts), Insurance (-26.36pts), Chemical (-8.73pts), Cable & Electrical Goods (-0.86pts), and Real Estate Investment Trust (-0.52pts).
In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 110,725.46 with a net gain of 1,116.65 points or 1.02%.
Total market volume was 805.14 million shares compared to 933.10m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs50.83 billion showing a decrease of Rs15.58bn.
There were 455,718 trades reported in 484 companies with 257 closing up, 176 closing down, and 51 remaining unchanged.
