Mobilink Bank PBT surpasses Rs3bn, tripling CY25 earnings

February 17, 2026 (MLN): Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s largest microfinance institution, reported a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs3.62bn for the year ended December 31, 2025, marked a 217% increase compared to the previous year.

The bank’s total revenue rose 33% to Rs89.5bn, while deposits grew 38% to Rs214bn, the highest in the country’s microfinance sector, according to the press release. 

The bank’s gross loan portfolio expanded 38% to Rs103bn, showing strong demand and customer confidence in its digital microfinance offerings.

Mobilink Bank maintained a capital adequacy ratio of 19.53%, signaling a solid capital base and prudent risk management amid rapid growth.

Green financing initiatives increased 55.5% year-on-year, supporting individuals, households, and small businesses in adopting sustainable solutions.

Women accounted for 24.6% of the loan portfolio, supported through targeted financing and enhanced digital access.

In 2025, the bank also introduced Shariah-compliant banking products, expanding access to Islamic financial solutions for a broader customer base.

The move aligns with its focus on inclusive lending practices, responsible credit assessments, and adherence to State Bank of Pakistan regulations.

Executives highlighted that the bank’s growth reflects improved asset quality, operational efficiency, and sustained shareholder confidence, which together support continued expansion in digital banking and financial inclusion.

Mobilink Bank’s 2025 results position it as a leading player in Pakistan’s microfinance sector, strengthening its ability to serve small businesses and promote digital and sustainable financial solutions.
