KE Ventures appoints Adeeb Ahmad as CEO

April 27, 2026 (MLN): KE Ventures Company Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of K-Electric Limited (KE) established in 2020, has appointed Adeeb Ahmad as its new Chief Executive Officer as part of its strategy to diversify beyond core utility operations.

KE Ventures serves as KE’s strategic investment arm, focused on delivering services across the broader energy value chain for Karachi’s residents and businesses, showing an expanded role in developing supporting platforms and ecosystems.

The company has so far deployed over Rs1.3bn in its first venture, K-Solar, and is planning future investments in renewable energy, distributed generation, e-mobility, industrial infrastructure and services, technology solutions, and fintech.

Sameer Chishty, Chairman of KE Ventures’ Board of Directors and Member of the KE Board, said KE continues to focus on providing affordable, reliable energy, while KE Ventures aims to enhance value through innovation-driven platforms and related ecosystems for stakeholders.

Adeeb Ahmad, CEO of KE Ventures, said the company will pursue opportunities enabled by KE’s infrastructure and access, and explore integration of new technologies across industrial and consumer sectors.

He added that KE Ventures will also seek partnerships with experienced operators and investors where appropriate.
