April 28, 2026 (MLN): Mughal Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited, has commenced turbine rolling at its hybrid power plant.

This marked the start of phased power generation and system testing.

In a submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company stated that turbine rolling has begun, enabling gradual electricity generation along with load and reliability assessments.

The process will also include system stability checks and safety standards compliance testing.

The development signals a key operational milestone for the hybrid power project, as it transitions from construction to initial commissioning activities.

The company shared the update through its corporate communication, with copies also sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
