May 04, 2026 (MLN): Sitara Chemical Industries Limited (PSX:SITC) has reached a significant operational milestone with its 50 MW coal-fired power plant achieving its Commercial Operation Date (COD).

Following the successful completion of testing and commissioning activities, the facility is now fully operational and capable of sustained commercial operations, according to the company's on PSX revealed today.

The development marks the culmination of the plant's construction and commissioning phase, transitioning it into an active power generation asset for the company.
