August 11, 2026 (MLN): Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited (PSX: KTML) has approved the installation of a 48.36 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) along with an additional 9.34 MW solar installation.
The solar power plant and BESS are expected to commence commercial operations during the last month of the second quarter of financial year 2026-27.
The investment is expected to result in significant savings in energy costs.
