August 12, 2026 (MLN): Wahdat Poultry Farm Limited (PSX:WAHDAT) has acquired 1.02 acres of land in the Bhalwal Industrial Estate, District Sargodha, for the establishment of its proposed pasteurization plant, funded through proceeds of the company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) at a total cost of Rs28.13m.
The company has informed that the land acquisition was carried out in line with the utilization plan disclosed in its IPO prospectus.
The company termed the acquisition a key milestone in the implementation of its value-added expansion strategy, noting that the proposed pasteurization plant is expected to enhance its processing capabilities, enable diversification into value-added egg products, and strengthen overall operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
The company stated that it remains committed to timely execution of its expansion projects and will continue to keep the exchange and shareholders informed of further material developments, including construction progress and installation of plant and machinery.
