November 05, 2025 (MLN): The Sindh High Court has issued interim orders dated November 4, 2025, directing that “no coercive action shall be taken against K-Electric Limited (PSX: KEL) in terms of the impugned NEPRA decision till the next date of hearing.”
According to the company’s filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), K-Electric has filed an appeal before the NEPRA Appellate Tribunal under Section 12-G of the NEPRA Act, 1997, challenging the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority’s (NEPRA) decision dated October 20, 2025.
As the NEPRA Appellate Tribunal is currently non-functional, the company has submitted Constitutional Petitions Nos. D-5384 to D-5387 of 2025 before the High Court of Sindh.
This development follows K-Electric’s earlier disclosure on October 21, 2025, regarding the same regulatory matter.
This disclosure has been made in compliance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and the PSX Rule Book to ensure transparency and timely dissemination of material information to investors.
