Intermarket Securities secures SECP license to operate as securities manager

November 10, 2025 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has granted a Securities Manager license to Intermarket Securities Limited, authorizing the brokerage firm to expand its financial services under the Securities Act, 2015.
According to the official document dated November 5, 2025, the license is valid for one year, from November 5, 2025, to November 4, 2026, unless cancelled or suspended earlier, subject to continued compliance with regulatory requirements.
The approval was issued by Muzaffar Ahmed Mirza, Commissioner of the Licensing and Registration Division, after the SECP reviewed and found the company eligible under Sections 68 and 69 of the Act.
This authorization allows Intermarket Securities to operate as a Securities Manager, offering portfolio management and investment advisory services to clients.
The move marks a step forward in enhancing the firm’s service portfolio and is expected to strengthen the depth and sophistication of Pakistan’s capital market, aligning with the SECP’s broader regulatory and market development objectives.
