PSX Closing Bell: A Step in the Right Direction

November 13, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Thursday's trading session at 160,657.49, showing an increase of 2,473.55 points or 1.56%.

The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 160,944.50 (+2,760.56) and a low of 158,971.48 (+787.54) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 254.92 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 74 closed up, 24 closed down, 1 were unchanged, while 1 remained untraded.

Top gainers during the day were PIOC (+10.00%), MLCF (+10.00%), KTML (+10.00%), DGKC (+8.83%), and FCCL (+8.80%).

On the other hand, top losers were FHAM (-4.65%), HMB (-1.61%), INIL (-1.61%), PABC (-1.44%), and MUREB (-1.39%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were FFC (+571.34pts), LUCK (+322.67pts), MLCF (+144.63pts), DGKC (+138.07pts), and MARI (+134.10pts).

Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were HMB (-29.70pts), AIRLINK (-9.41pts), TRG (-7.73pts), INIL (-6.20pts), and MUREB (-5.63pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Cement (+946.06pts), Fertilizer (+640.97pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+268.68pts), Commercial Banks (+189.15pts), and Power Generation & Distribution (+89.65pts).

While the index was let down by Modarabas (-5.49pts), Leather & Tanneries (-1.43pts), Close - End Mutual Fund (-0.36pts), Leasing Companies (-0.03pts), and Synthetic & Rayon (+0.00pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 50,481.48 with a net gain of 777.23 points or 1.56%.

Total market volume was 797.18 million shares compared to 757.24m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs35.13 billion showing an increase of Rs1.71bn.

There were 326,092 trades reported in 477 companies with 285 closing up, 142 closing down, and 50 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 35,030 points or 27.88% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 45,531 points or 39.55% so far this calendar year.
