PSX Closing Bell: Bulls Keep the Flame Alive

November 20, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Thursday's trading session at 162,936.93, showing an increase of 710.66 points or 0.44%.
The index remained positive throughout the day showing an intraday high of 163,817.82 (+1,591.55) and a low of 162,646.98 (+420.71) points.
The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 208.14 million shares.
Of the 100 index companies 61 closed up, 37 closed down, while 2 were unchanged.
Top gainers during the day were GHGL (+7.66%), MEHT (+6.37%), TGL (+5.09%), PIOC (+3.50%), and IBFL (+3.21%).
On the other hand, top losers were PABC (-2.70%), THALL (-2.66%), YOUW (-1.89%), SRVI (-1.30%), and BOP (-1.07%).
In terms of index-point contributions, companies that propped up the index were MARI (+127.34pts), HUBC (+111.95pts), OGDC (+90.31pts), PPL (+80.93pts), and SYS (+65.76pts).
Meanwhile, companies that dragged the index lower were MEBL (-30.51pts), FFC (-26.46pts), POL (-21.64pts), EFERT (-20.47pts), and THALL (-20.02pts).

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was supported by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (+276.94pts), Cement (+155.42pts), Power Generation & Distribution (+111.90pts), Technology & Communication (+104.43pts), and Glass & Ceramics (+54.27pts).
While the index was let down by Commercial Banks (-29.01pts), Automobile Parts & Accessories (-20.02pts), Leather & Tanneries (-14.84pts), Fertilizer (-12.17pts), and Automobile Assembler (-6.22pts).
In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 51,186.79 with a net gain of 223.26 points or 0.44%.
Total market volume was 725.87 million shares compared to 1,029.78m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs35.32 billion showing a decrease of Rs9.86bn.
There were 332,242 trades reported in 473 companies with 247 closing up, 187 closing down, and 39 remaining unchanged.
