November 24, 2025 (MLN): Premium Textile Mills Limited (PSX: PRET) has approved the purchase and installation of a 7.5-megawatt wind turbine, marking a significant step toward expanding the company’s renewable energy footprint.

The development was disclosed in the company’s filing on PSX revealed today.

The approval was granted through a circular resolution on November 24, 2025. The project carries an estimated cost of $ 4.15 million.

The company stated that this investment aligns with its ongoing commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible business practices.

Upon completion, the new wind turbine is expected to significantly increase the share of renewable energy in the company’s overall power mix, potentially lowering long-term operational costs and reducing reliance on conventional power sources.
