PSX Closing Bell: Slippin’ Away Again

November 25, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Tuesday's trading session at 161,692.49, showing a decrease of 291.59 points or 0.18%.

The index traded in a range of 1,543.04 points showing an intraday high of 162,819.85 (+835.77) and a low of 161,276.81 (-707.27) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 162.00 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 29 closed up, 67 closed down, while 4 were unchanged.

Top losers during the day were ISL (-3.03%), INIL (-3.01%), UNITY (-2.87%), YOUW (-2.81%), and BWCL (-2.62%).

On the other hand, top gainers were KTML (+4.03%), PTC (+3.47%), SRVI (+2.13%), CPHL (+1.86%), and BAFL (+1.78%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that dragged the index lower were ENGROH (-135.51pts), PPL (-47.64pts), NBP (-41.84pts), BAHL (-40.28pts), and HUBC (-37.42pts).

Meanwhile, companies that added points to the index were FFC (+161.99pts), LUCK (+53.14pts), BAFL (+43.99pts), POL (+29.39pts), and SYS (+28.83pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was let down by Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (-143.90pts), Commercial Banks (-71.45pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-60.89pts), Cement (-56.97pts), and Power Generation & Distribution (-56.32pts).

While the index was supported by Fertilizer (+212.31pts), Textile Composite (+32.94pts), Technology & Communication (+27.79pts), Leather & Tanneries (+23.33pts), and Paper, Board & Packaging (+6.58pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 50,795.84 with a net loss of 91.61 points or 0.18%.

Total market volume was 590.54 million shares compared to 490.35m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs22.15 billion showing a decrease of Rs1.52bn.

There were 293,307 trades reported in 476 companies with 154 closing up, 284 closing down, and 38 remaining unchanged.
