December 15, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan International Bulk Terminal Limited (PIBT) has executed a Supplemental Implementation Agreement with the Port Qasim Authority.
The aforementioned development granted the company additional concessions, rights, and licenses to handle, store, and export copper-gold commodities at its terminal.
In a issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), PIBT said the supplemental concessions allow it to cater to minerals, metals, and other natural earth commodities on a non-exclusive basis, broadening the scope of cargo handled at the terminal.
Concurrently, the company has also signed an agreement with Reko Diq Mining Company (Private) Limited for the handling of its cargo concentrate.
This marked a significant step towards facilitating the export logistics of one of Pakistan’s largest mining projects.
This development is expected to enhance PIBT’s operational portfolio and strengthen its role in supporting bulk mineral exports from Pakistan.
