CCP approves Nippon Express stake in TCS Logistics

February 03, 2026 (MLN):  The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has approved Nippon Express (South Asia & Oceania) Pte. Limited’s acquisition of a minority stake in TCS Logistics (Private) Limited.

Through the partnership, Nippon Express will leverage TCS Logistics’ domestic network, while TCS gains access to Nippon Express’ global logistics expertise.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s 3PL sector, improve supply chain efficiency, and enhance trade connectivity with regional and international markets.

It is also anticipated to facilitate imports and exports, support trade corridors, and contribute to the modernization of the country’s logistics ecosystem, according to  a press release issued.

Saira Awan Malik, President of TCS Group, said the agreement reflects international confidence in Pakistan’s logistics sector.

Nippon Express noted the investment will help expand logistics services in Pakistan and develop new trade opportunities in the region.

TCS Logistics is a division of the TCS Group in Pakistan while Nippon Express (South Asia & Oceania) Pte. Limited is a subsidiary of Nippon Express Holdings, Inc., based in Japan.
