PSX Closing Bell: Bears Tighten Their Grip

February 13, 2026 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Friday's trading session at 179,603.73, showing a decrease of 908.91 points or 0.50%.

The index traded in a range of 2,595.52 points showing an intraday high of 180,832.65 (+320.01) and a low of 178,237.13 (-2,275.51) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 379.80 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 43 closed up, 56 closed down, while 1 were unchanged.

Top losers during the day were UNITY (-6.66%), PKGP (-4.33%), FATIMA (-3.43%), BOP (-2.76%), and PIOC (-2.60%).

On the other hand, top gainers were HUMNL (+10.01%), SSOM (+10.00%), HMB (+4.68%), KEL (+4.02%), and SCBPL (+2.18%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that dragged the index lower were LUCK (-179.04pts), UBL (-144.37pts), OGDC (-125.28pts), SYS (-89.55pts), and EFERT (-78.81pts).

Meanwhile, companies that added points to the index were HMB (+90.77pts), NBP (+77.07pts), KEL (+30.89pts), MLCF (+24.76pts), and HUMNL (+21.33pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was let down by Cement (-206.64pts), Fertilizer (-171.39pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-166.04pts), Commercial Banks (-139.29pts), and Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (-61.28pts).

While the index was supported by Cable & Electrical Goods (+11.71pts), Property (+10.63pts), Automobile Parts & Accessories (+9.40pts), Tobacco (+6.38pts), and Automobile Assembler (+6.29pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 108,021.18 with a net loss of 379.49 points or 0.35%.

Total market volume was 708.97 million shares compared to 874.00m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs38.89 billion showing a decrease of Rs2.88bn.

There were 345,317 trades reported in 480 companies with 193 closing up, 231 closing down, and 56 remaining unchanged.
