March 04, 2026 (MLN): Agritech Limited (PSX: AGL) is facing an operational shutdown at its Urea plant due to a suspension in RLNG supply.

The disruption follows a “Potential Event of Force Majeure” declared by the LNG supplier, triggered by ongoing regional conflicts in the Middle East, which have affected LNG production facilities and disrupted supply in the country.

The situation is beyond the control of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and materially impacts its ability to deliver RLNG to Agritech’s fertilizer plant.

Consequently, RLNG supply to the plant has been suspended effective from 00:00 hours on March 4, 2026, with operations halted until further notice.

The situation is being continuously monitored and efforts are underway in coordination with government-designated LNG buyers to minimize the disruption.

Agritech has been advised to make necessary arrangements to manage the impact of the RLNG shortage.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a to Exchange.
