BMA Capital Research Flashnote | October 8, 2026
(Report Overview)
(Key Highlights)

- Fiscal Discipline: Implementation of the FY27 budget targeting a primary surplus of 2.0% of GDP remains key, with revenue mobilization focused on risk-based audits and digital invoicing.
- Energy-Sector Reforms: Timely tariff adjustments and cost-reduction measures are critical to prevent a renewed build-up of circular debt and to reduce UFG losses.
- Monetary & FX Policy: Policies should remain appropriately tight, with exchange-rate flexibility acting as a shock absorber.
