الزامات کے مطابق، مذکورہ کمپنی نے پاکستان ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن اتھارٹی (PTA) سے منظور شدہ ٹیرف سے تجاوز کرتے ہوئے صارفین سے 5.83 ارب روپے زائد وصول کیے۔ آڈیٹر جنرل آف پاکستان (AGP) نے اپنی آڈٹ رپورٹ میں نشاندہی کی کہ ریگولیٹر نے کمپنی کو 3 فیصد کی حد کے بجائے 15 فیصد ٹیرف بڑھانے کی اجازت دی تھی۔
پی ٹی اے چیئرمین نے ان الزامات کی سختی سے تردید کرتے ہوئے شفافیت کا دفاع کیا ہے اور فارنزک آڈٹ کروانے کی پیشکش بھی کی ہے۔ جاز کے ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ معاملہ دو سرکاری اداروں کے درمیان ہے اور وہ کسی بھی فورم پر اپنا موقف پیش کرنے کے لیے تیار ہیں۔
