Hunan Resources SMC (Private) Limited has officially resumed operations at its industrial facility in Dhabeji, Sindh, following a seven-month closure that began in February 2026.

The company confirmed that the restart was facilitated by the intervention of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). In a formal communication, the company noted that the prolonged shutdown caused substantial financial losses and hindered their business commitments.

Management expressed appreciation for the SIFC's coordination in resolving operational challenges, stating that this support has bolstered their confidence in the investment environment in Pakistan and ensures the continuity of industrial growth.
