MCB Investment Management Limited has released the Annual Report for MCB Pakistan Fixed Return Fund for the financial year ended June 30, 2026.

Key Highlights

• Maturity of Plans: All plans of the Fund launched during the period matured by June 30, 2026. Consequently, as at June 30, 2026, the Statement of Assets and Liabilities reflects nil balances and no active plans.
• Going Concern: Despite having no active plans at year-end, the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis as the Management Company intends to launch new fixed return plans in the normal course of business.
• Auditor Rotation: The external auditors, M/s. Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants, have retired after completing their 5-year term. The Audit Committee has recommended M/s. BDO Ebrahim & Co., Chartered Accountants, as the new external auditor for the year ending June 30, 2027.
• Regulatory Clarification: SECP confirmed that shell-structure CIS offering fixed maturity plans are exempt from the general Rs. 100 million net asset requirement, provided each plan meets the minimum launch size of Rs. 50 million under Circular No. 25 of 2024.
