Altern Energy Limited (ALTN) has announced its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on October 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Descon Headquarters, Lahore.
Meeting Agenda
- Confirmation of minutes of the EOGM held on December 31, 2025.
- Approval of the Annual Audited Financial Statements for the year ended June 30, 2026.
- Appointment of external auditors and fixation of their remuneration.
- Approval of a Special Resolution for the disposal and sale of the company's plant, machinery, stores, and spares.
The share transfer books will remain closed from October 20, 2026, to October 26, 2026 (both days inclusive).
Business Context: The company notes that it is no longer engaged in the power generation business. The proposed sale of assets is intended to realize value for the company and its shareholders following the termination of its Power Purchase Agreement.
